It seems as if every week another story of an athlete breaking the law comes out. Sometimes the criminal offense is drugs possession, assault, failing to pay child support, or one of the numerous illicit transgressions that occur in our society. Also, these athletes are abusing and causing controversy on Twitter and social networking sites. These same athletes who are heroes to many kids. Men and women who are supposed to role models for our society. These same athletes who are obliviously breaking the law and then expecting to get off with a slap on the wrist. These athletes need to stop their poor behavior and become the positive role models they should be or be exiled from the game and out of the public eye.
